  • Make a bunch of all documents that you want to get attested. Let\u2019s say, you have eight mark sheets of all semesters that need to be attested, keep them in a file together. If these are from different schools and universities, arrange them in different sets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Get a photocopy of each. It is also required because the college or school authority keep it with itself for a further reference. So, it is must to keep a photocopy of all original mark sheets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Make a set of original and photocopies of mark sheets separately. Put these two sets in a separate envelop each. Write the address of the university on both. Also, you should take a spare envelop for any urgent requirement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Manually write address on envelopes. Mumbai University does not accept printed address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • It is compulsory to take all original documents with you. The backend officer at the university cross checks every detail on these documents. Once verified, you may bring your original documents back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2). Submission of Documents<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Try to reach before opening hours at the address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Let\u2019s say, you studied from Vidyarthi Vidyapeeth Bhavan, First Floor, B Road, Churchgate station. It opens between 11.00-1.00 pm and 1.30 to 2.00 pm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Make up your mind for long waiting hours, especially on Mondays and Tuesdays. Although the office opens at 10:30 AM, people start standing in queues as early as 8:30 AM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • On your turn, you will receive a form to fill it up. It requires the basic information about you to be filled there. Fill it up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Again, visit the officer. He will verify all documents and information being filled. Handover the envelopes that you have so that he can check.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Pay the requisite fee for the entire process. The total amount will depend on the number of copies you want to get attested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Generally, it requires INR 5 per document as an attestation fee and INR 50\/ document as a processing fee. Calculate the total fee according to the number of documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The backend officer will give you a receipt upon verification and fee payment. Keep it safe with you. Keep it handy because it will be required to collect your attested transcripts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The processing time will be around 25 days. You may come back after that time to collect your documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3). Collect Transcripts<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      • Visit the office after 25 days and show the receipt to the concerned officer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Your name and receipt number will help the officer to tell about the status of your transcript attestation. If it\u2019s done, he hands over it to you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
