If you have an attorney, make sure that he has a signed letter that reads about the given authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Fee Structure<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SDM attestation \u2013 INR 2000 to INR 3000 (as per location)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee for Notary \u2013 INR 350<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee for Attestation \u2013 INR 105<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fee for Apostille \u2013 INR 50<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How long does it take?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Since it\u2019s a time-consuming task, you need to raise a request one or two months before your marriage. The attestation may take many weeks, as it has to go through many stages from the competent authorities in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides, you need to keep into account that there are four authorized outsourcing agencies that are competent to place a request for attestation with. You need to ask them, as the MEA or the state government does not attend any direct request for this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What does it read?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As aforementioned, you need to enclose two affidavits, one \u2013for yourself and another-for your parents.
