It is not necessary to get it for those who want to just visit somewhere on tourist visa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s move to know its application procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The applicant can visit Indian Mission website (i.e.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mea.gov.in\/indian-missions-abroad-new.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/mea.gov.in\/indian-missions-abroad-new.htm<\/strong><\/a>) to download the PCC form and submit it together with the list of supporting documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill it up, providing requisite valid details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon getting the receipt, the Indian Mission forwards it to the concerned Passport Issuing Authority (PIA) in India at the PSK.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then, the Mission updates the status of the report from PIA on the same.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The foreigners need to get this certificate from the District Police or the FRRO at the place of residence in India. Its original copy should be attested by the Indian Mission.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Checklist of Documents To Be Enclosed With the PCC Application Form for Employment in ECR Countries<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The applicant should, at first, consider if it is one of the ECR countries where he is going for employment.
