Wondering how do I get a copy of my degree certificate(s)?  Here are the documents that you need to append along your application to with the duplicate one:

• A copy of an FIR issued from the nearest police station (It must read that the appellant has lost/misplaced his/her degree of schooling/ graduation/post-graduation. It must be attested by the police.)
• An affidavit that would be a sworn document stating that I (the appellant) have lost his/her certificates. Bear in mind that this vital document must be drafted before the officer of court/oath commissioner of that jurisdiction.
• Two original copies of the local newspapers (different) wherein the appellant had published the report of missing/lost degree certificates.
• A letter of authority to entrust the authority (of the appellant) to apply for the duplicate degrees.

All these papers must be attested along the application from the competent authority of the school/college/university. If you apply through the third party, it would be delivered directly without any glitches. It may or may not ask for the courier charges. However, the service charges would be mandatorily paid.

The appellant can pay online using his/her debit card. A few agencies accept credit card payment as well. But if you want to pay online through netbanking, you can do so as well.
